I watched Elon Musk and the Tesla team unveil the Cybertruck last night and wanted to give my thoughts on the event, but more so the innovation giant on the whole. The company is revolutionizing the transportation and energy industries right in front of our eyes. The critics make me laugh. What are they afraid of? Don't be scared of change. 

I had a great conversation with a colleague in the mortgage industry and wanted to reflect on what we talked about. We spoke a lot about finance, marketing, and building strong relationships. We agreed that the best way to establish a legendary brand is to root it in genuineness and provide value up-front without expecting anything in return. If there ever was a secret to building something great, that's it.

I strive every day to deepen my level of thinking, expand my knowledge base, and extend my comfort zone. There is so much information available online today. Go out and find what you're looking for! As it relates to business, I always try to steer my clients in the right direction, in web development or even broader. Today, I was asked, "Are you scared about being on your own?" The answer: It's definitely scary, but not as scary as thinking about how much I will regret not trying it later in life.

Over the past 2 years, I have acquired a ton of knowledge in the personal finance niche. I have implemented the tips and tricks into my own life, but now, I want to share what I know with others. I am working on a personal finance crash course that I will be publishing and giving away for FREE. I know that the simple steps I am putting together contain a lot of value. I'm always doing something. For the last 10+ years, I haven't had many days off. Weekdays have been spent at school or a full-time job and my weekends have been spent at my Grandma's diner. There are many pros and cons to this lifestyle, but overall I think it has benefitted me. I'm at a point in my life, however, where change is looming and will ultimately be for the better.

Diet and nutrition have been a part of a roller coaster ride for me throughout my life. I was an overweight kid in grade school and I have since transitioned into a much more average build in my 20s. I have some thoughts and goals that I like to share with people based on my journey thus far. Overall, it's important to understand what you're looking to achieve in the kitchen and in the gym. Make it a lifestyle, not just something you do to get ready for the beach.

If you're a business owner looking to expand your team, be conscientious about how you hire new people and scale your business. While speed is important in the micro, it can hurt you on a macro level if you don't have the right mindset. Get to know and truly care about potential new hires. Make sure they will jive with your company's culture but don't jam them into a position that doesn't work for them. The addition of a new employee should be beneficial to both sides. Ultimately, the goal is to hire slow and fire fast. If you do make a mistake, rectify it as soon as possible. Don't let it affect the rest of your team.

How much of a handle do you have on your personal finances right now? If the answer is very little, I implore you to devote even the smallest amount of effort towards it. By following the steps that I have developed and having some self-discipline, you will be able to build a great life for you and your family. 

A little glimpse at what my typical weekend is like and how packed my day-to-day is. However, something special happened this past weekend that gave me the confidence and hope that I needed.

I'm in a place of wanting to do much more and need to keep moving forward. My job is okay, but is very draining and not where I want to be. I have the idea in my head that I want to implement my ideal day and I'm slowly getting to that point.
