I saw the movie “A Beautiful Day In The Neighborhood” and it got me thinking. Growing up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Mr. Rogers was pretty close to home and the show had a good deal of relatability. The documentary of Fred Rogers’ life, as well as the Hollywood counterpart featuring Tom Hanks, illustrated to me how caring and compassionate of a man Fred truly was. He impacted not only children but adults alike. When I see someone else put that much good into the world, I genuinely appreciate and admire it. It’s a service to our society that I wish to take part in as well.
